PFA expands support service for foreign companies in the Thai market
－Strategic partnership with DATAMAX CO., LTD (Bangkok, Thailand)－

On November 28th, 2010, Plum Field Advisory Inc. (“PFA”) and DATAMAX CO., LTD. (“DATAMAX”) signed a memorandum on business alliance. The parties have agreed on forming an alliance on the business localization support services for Japanese companies operating in Thailand. The services focus on areas that require in-depth expertise, including compliance, fraud prevention and detection and internal audit.

Thailand ranks No.2 in the balance of direct investment by Japanese companies into Asia. The targeted industries vary widely from automobile and electronics to finance or chemical businesses. However, due to the difference in business practice, culture, public safety and laws and regulations, many Japanese companies face various types of difficulties which may at times become obstacles for the business localization. As such, Japanese companies are required to recognize, mitigate and avoid local risks and manage their business in an appropriate way. To help achieve this objective, PFA and DATAMAX will fully leverage and combine their expertise, know-how and management resources and provide a strong support to the clients.
